ECS Newsletter - June 2010

Hello and welcome to the ECS Newsletter, Issue 43.

June has been another busy month for ECS. Of course IPEX consumed a lot of time however we were still very busy shipping orders and dealing with the vast number of sample order’s obtained at IPEX.

ECS have been notified of a recent legislation change within the labelling of aerosols. Products such as Antiskin, Silicon spray, Colorstart spray and Anti Static spray will all contain the following label information:

Extremely Flammable logo and text

A reverse epsilon character () in bold text must be made obvious to plain view – this signifies that the cans have been tested and approved for use as aerosols.

Our DGSA advises us this is to bring the UK in line with the EU.

Further labeling and legislations are due to change in October 2010. With help and support of REACH 4 Safety ECS will keep you updated with anything which will affect you.

Thankyou all for taking the time to visit ECS at our stand in IPEX.

After many months of planning and organisation IPEX 2010 arrived. The ash cloud caused little or no effect to the exhibition and we at ECS found ourselves busy from the off. Many potential new customers took the time to speak with either myself; Neil, Tom, Amelie or Deepak and all were impressed with the products ECS has to offer.

As expected, IPEX also proved a perfect environment for ECS to catch up with many of their international customers. It was great to see everybody and thank you all for taking the time.

Having now reviewed all enquiries and submitted further product information it would suggest that Neil, myself and Tom will spending a considerable amount of time travelling and following up.

Certain travel plans are already in place for Neil to visit Sri Lanka and South Africa (after the world cup), Darren is to take a trip to South America to support both and existing account as well as aid in the development of another and Tom is currently touring Pakistan with our dealer to help further spread the ECS name.

As planned the new product literature produced was greatly received by all customers.

If you missed IPEX, and would like a copy please contact ECS via sales@ecsnotts.co.uk where we will be happy to send you a copy along with the new ECS DVD.

ECS would also like to thank PrintedEasy.com
