ECS Newsletter - July 2010

Hello and welcome to the July issue of the ECS newsletter.

Within the past 18 months we have seen our export business grow, as such it now contributes to more than 60% our business. Servicing markets as far away as New Zealand and China we understand the demand of high quality packaging and shipping. To help further improve our service ECS will begin using heat treated crates to ensure our products arrive in the same condition they were shipped. Customers will begin seeing these new crates when ordering either 20 or 40ft containers.

Further packaging concepts are being reviewed and will be detailed in later issues of the ECS Newsletter.

New staff for ECS

ECS have seen a few staff changes this month. Helen Saxton formerly of UK sales has taken on the role of Purchasing to help and support Kevin Hatton.

Replacing Helen within the UK Sales is Jodie Hoggard. We all at ECS welcome Jodie to the team and look forward to working with her.

Jodie can be contacted via uksales@ecsnotts.co.uk

Over the last 2 ECS Newsletters we have touched briefly upon REACH 4 Safety. Within the last 6 months they have supported ECS within the development of our full Heath and Safety system as well as provided us with full Dangerous Goods transport information along with key and specific information surrounding REACH and what ECS and its customers should be doing next.

ECS and REACH 4 Safety are now working together to provide a similar service to both our customers and your customers.

REACH 4 Safety provide a 4 tier packaged. The basic introductory package (Bronze) covers a site audit and overall report and the top service (Platinum) covers every part of Heath and Safety within your site.

The team behind REACH 4 Safety are all Print background orientated so understand the demand set upon both the distributor and end user. They can tailor make systems to suit your needs.

For further information regarding this service please contact us via sales@ecsnotts.co.uk or Darren@ecsnotts.co.uk where we can supply you a copy of the full copy of the packaged available.

Our Technical Sales Manager Tom Cropper has returned from a 2 weeklong tour of Pakistan. Here he spent time with our dealer supporting them, providing product training to the sales force as well as attending a number of customer visits.

Tom would like to thank everyone he met when in Pakistan for the fantastic hospitality he received.
